Title

The status of Human resource analytics in transfiguring Traditional HRM practices in industry 4.0: A systematic review

Abstract

: Industry 4.0 is an evolutionary transition from the computerized business world of Industry 3.0 to the predictive business world of Industry 4.0, which is based on a number of technologies. It focuses mostly on how connectivity, digital technologies, predictive analytics, and machine learning can change the way businesses work and grow in the current situation. In this perspective, human resources analytics has been extensively studied in the literature over the past decade mostly in a descriptive and commercial way rather than in revolutionary and predictive terms. In light of this, we conducted a systematic literature review with the following objectives in mind: first, to assess the current status of HRA in terms of applicability; and second, to provide a framework for the development of HRA for implementation as a justifiable HRM practice. During our review of 79 papers in research databases, we identified 34 empirical studies. The Majority of empirical papers focused on financial hitches, but the important findings also demonstrate the relative infancy of the HRA sector and the growing importance of ethics are to be the reasons for its unpopularity as a practice.
