Title

'A study of Teachers' Awareness of News Education Policy (2020) relate to the Demographic factor “

Abstract

The New Education Policy (NEP) of 2020 has brought several significant changes to the Indian education system. This study aims to investigate the awareness of teachers about the NEP and how it relates to their demographic factors. A questionnaire was distributed among a sample of teachers, and their responses were analysed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The study found that the awareness of the NEP among teachers was moderate, with a considerable proportion of teachers having limited knowledge about the policy. The analysis also revealed that factors such as age, gender, teaching experience, and educational qualifications were significant predictors of teachers' awareness of the NEP. This study suggests that efforts should be made to improve teachers' awareness of the NEP and its implications for the education system, particularly for those who are less informed. The findings of this study could be used by policymakers to develop strategies to effectively implement the NEP and enhance the quality of education in India.
