Diazepam induced changes in the development rate of Lucilia sericata (Diptera: Calliphoridae)

Abstract
The objective of the present study is to determine the diazepam induced changes in the development rate of Lucilia sericata. Luicilia sericata species were collected on the decaying meat in the Aurangabad region. Changes in the life cycle stages were studied after exposure to diazepam. The larval and pupal development was slows down with increase in concentration of diazepam. The flies emerge first form control then from diazepam induced treated meat.
