Aim of this research article is to study Self-Concept among prospective teachers studying two year D.T.Ed., course. The picture of on individual as one self is called the concept of self. It includes the perception an individual has of his physical appearance and of the tangible properties of himself as a person. It covers beliefs, convictions and values has holds. The objective of the study is to find out the level of Self-Concept based on selected demographic variables. The normative survey method was adopted in this study. Self-Concept Scale constructed and standardized by the Dr. Raj Kumar Saraswat (1984) was used to collect the data from a sample of 100 D.T.Ed., students studying the two year Teacher Education Diploma course in various teacher training colleges located in Puducherry region India. The Cluster sampling technique was used in administration of the research tools to collect the data for the present study. The data collected has been subjected to Descriptive and Differential analysis. The present study consists of 100 D.T.Ed., students in selected by adopting Cluster sampling technique. Findings of the study revealed that Self-Concept among D.T.Ed., students is above average level. There is a significant difference in Self-Concept based on gender, marital status and type of school education
