Title

The Menace Of Stray Dogs In Uttar Pradesh, India

Abstract

The stray dog problem in Uttar Pradesh, India, is a longstanding issue that has been worsening over the years. The state has one of the highest populations of stray dogs in India, with an estimated 10 million strays. These dogs often roam freely, pose a risk to public health, and are involved in numerous cases of dog bites and attacks. B. It is crucial to study this issue as it has significant implications for public health and safety. Stray dogs can carry diseases that can be transmitted to humans, including rabies, which is a fatal viral disease. Additionally, the problem of dog bites and attacks is a serious concern, as it can result in physical injuries and psychological trauma. Understanding the causes and consequences of the stray dog problem is essential for developing effective strategies to manage and control the issue. . The purpose of this research is to investigate the stray dog problem in Uttar Pradesh, with a focus on the causes, consequences, and potential solutions to the issue. The objectives of the research include: Identifying the factors contributing to the high population of stray dogs in Uttar Pradesh. Examining the impact of stray dogs on public health and safety, including the incidence of dog bites and attacks. Evaluating the current policies and programs in place to manage the stray dog population in the state.
