Title

Design and development of Smart Pipeline Leakage Detection System

Abstract

Overpopulation, climate change, and outdate water facilities, where deteriorated pipes are the primary cause of water leaks, have all contributed to an increase in the water supply shortage in recent years. The issue isn't the size of the break, yet the time it takes to recognize it. This paper presents the execution of a framework introduced in the pressure driven offices of a home, to identify water spills. A water sensor that is attached to the water reservoir of interest and a microprocessor that interprets and evaluates the data make up the system. The design of a water level sensor that can detect and control the level of water in a specific water tank involves the level detector first detecting the amount of water in the tank and then adjusting the water pump's state based on that information. Due to the full pipeline's failure to deliver water to the taps, there has been daily water waste. A real-time prototype pipeline leakage alert system, an SMS alert message, and an electrical actuator to shut off the main water supply to prevent leakage are the objectives of our proposed work.
