Social media has rapidly become a ubiquitous part of modern life, and its impact on youth psychology has been the subject of much debate. This paper aims to explore the relationship between social media and youth psychology, examining the ways in which social media use can influence young people's self-image, social interactions, and mental health. The paper reviews existing literature on the topic, highlighting key findings and areas of ongoing research. The findings reveal that social media use can have both positive and negative effects on youth psychology, with the influence often depending on factors such as the frequency of use, the type of platform, and the individual user's personality and experiences. Overall Findings reveals that out of 104 participants we can find that about 44 participants (42.3%) completely agree that social media has negative effects on our minds while 40 participants (38.5%) were neutral. Even while knowing this, most people remain ignorant towards the negative aspects of social media.
