Musical Therapy Using Facial Emotion Detection
Abstract
The proposed project aims to efficiently generate a music playlist based on the current mood of users by capturing their facial expressions through a webcam. By using a learning algorithm to recognize the most probable emotion from the captured facial image, the system can suggest a playlist that matches the user's mood, saving them time and effort. The detected emotion is then used by the Spotify API to generate a playlist that aligns with the user's emotion.
