Title

EFFECTIVENESS OF LOWER EXTREMITY PLYOMETRIC TRAINING ON ENDURANCE AND AGILITY IN POLICE RECRUITMENT EXAM CANDIDATES : (AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY)

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of lower extremity plyometric training on endurance and agility in police recruitment exam candidates. METHODOLOGY: The study began with the synopsis presentation to an ethical committee of PES Modern college of Physiotherapy and ethical clearance from committee was obtained. Subjects were selected according to inclusion criteria and the purpose of the study was explained to subjects and prior consent were taken. RESULT: candidates participated in the study, Paired T test was done .The result obtained for lower extremity plyometric training to increase in agility and endurance were found to be extremely significant CONCLUSION: From the above study it can be concluded that 6 weeks of lower extremity plyometrics helps in improving agility and endurance. KEYWORD: Plyometric training, agility, endurance, agility T test, squat test.
