Title

Electronic Health Records Management System

Abstract

This paper proposes a blockchain-based EHR management system that integrates Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) devices to enhance the system's functionality. The proposed system employs a private blockchain network, where each healthcare provider acts as a node in the network. EHRs are stored on the blockchain in the form of blocks that contain relevant data about a patient's health history and medication. The system employs smart contracts to maintain data integrity and control access to the EHRs. Electronic Health Records (EHRs) Management System is an integral part of modern healthcare systems. However, current EHR systems face various challenges, including data security, interoperability, and data integrity. Blockchain technology, which is a decentralized and distributed ledger system, provides a potential solution to these issues. By utilizing blockchain technology, EHRs can be stored in a secure and tamper-proof manner, ensuring data integrity and security. Furthermore, the use of blockchain technology can facilitate interoperability between various EHR systems, enabling seamless sharing of patient data between healthcare providers. The integration of IOMT devices into the system enables real-time monitoring of patients' health data, improving the accuracy of the EHRs. The IoMT devices can also detect any abnormal readings and trigger alerts, allowing for early detection and intervention. Furthermore, the proposed system can support telemedicine, facilitating remote consultations between healthcare providers and patients.
