IMPACT OF E-COMMERCE ON SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Authors

Abstract

This research project, titled "Impact of Ecommerce in Supply Chain Management," aims to learn more about the advantages of e-commerce in this field. The purpose of this research was to learn more about the impact of e-commerce on the supply chain. The essay also offers a descriptive analysis of the ways in which New Bel Road firms have profited from the rise of online commerce. The report includes a well-stated problem statement that serves as the basis for the study. The circumstance was stated, drawing focus to the hidden challenge. This research provides insight into how e-commerce has altered the supply chain in terms of productivity and cost. The impact of e-commerce on the supply chain in terms of cost and speed has not yet been assessed, despite the fact that numerous research have been undertaken on the topic. Due of this information gap, research efforts have been made. In order to make this research informative and helpful, a questionnaire survey was conducted. Thirty businesses were polled, and each of them uses e-commerce for supply chain management. This survey's sampling strategy was called convenience sampling. The questionnaire data has been analysed using bar charts, and pie charts have been examined for the likert scale. Now that you've decided against the null and have a better chance of being right about the alternative hypothesis, you may go on to testing it. According to the competing hypothesis, supply chain responsiveness and efficiency are enhanced when businesses do transactions online.
