Substance abuse is the most common problem in India. We all have seen in many articles, movies, news where it’s shown that the usage or consumption of drugs is dangerous and illegal. However, there has been no awareness in the public. So, the Government need to improve awareness by setting up stricter rules and also making it impossible for the people to buy it in the future. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to evaluate whether the public of India are aware of drug usage or abuse and also the Government policies against drug usage. A questionnaire with twenty questions is used to conduct an online-based survey. The study includes 77 participants with age ranging from 20 years to 63 years.
