Authors

Abstract

Right now, pollution of the natural environment is a major problem all over the world. Toxic pollutants released by internal combustion engines contribute greatly to already poor air quality. Consumers who want to lessen their own impact on the environment and the industry as a whole are increasingly interested in electric cars (EVs). Many governments around the world are offering financial incentives to citizens who are willing to make the switch to electric vehicles (EVs). Many factors, including the high price of electric cars, the lack of a widespread charging infrastructure, and worries about range and battery life, contribute to the slow adoption of electric cars. act as roadblocks that prevent people from buying a product. By the year 2030, the Indian government has ordered that no petrol or diesel-powered cars may be driven on Indian roadways. This article is up-to-date and takes a comprehensive look at the many factors that might affect a buyer's choice of an electric vehicle (EV). Auto-owning Indian individuals are the subjects of this study. The data analysis was performed using a technique called Structured Equation Modelling (SEM). One of the most important moderators in people's choice to buy electric cars is their attitude (ATT).
