QR BASED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR EMERGENCY VEHICLES

Abstract

Gridlock on the roadways is one of the numerous issues that people who live in urban areas today deal with on a daily basis. As a result, a lot of individuals waste valuable time waiting in severe traffic jams. Traffic accidents can occasionally result from congestion. Emergency vehicles like ambulances, fire trucks, and police cars also waste a lotof time getting to the crisis location, which leads to the loss of innocent life. In this study, we suggest a strategy to deal with issues brought on by traffic congestion, some of whichare mentioned above. It is suggested to use an automatic IoT- based traffic signal monitoring and controller system that also enables manual signal override online. By using this idea, you may reduce traffic jams while also giving emergency vehicles access to green lanes. It will significantly contribute to preventing the loss of time and lives.
