A vision-based approach to hand tracking can be useful in human-computer interaction to help users interact naturally with computers. There is a lot of research on hand tracking, especially focusing on sign language recognition and human-computer interaction, which can be of great benefit to people of all abilities and the elderly who have difficulty using computers for basic tools such as obtaining information and entertainment. etc. An approach to simulate mouse movements using a camera in real time is presented. By using cameras and computer vision technologies, we show how to perform mouse functions currently available (left and right click, double click and scroll) and other system functions such as volume control, brightness control, turning the system off. This method uses a webcam to capture image and detect hand gestures for human-computer interaction. Using vision based technology and natural hand gestures can make the use of computers easy to use.
