Happiness is the expression of pleasant feelings, moods, optimism, and wellness that are important in the workplace. This is an attempt to explore and analyse literature to define happiness, identify current scenarios, causes, and consequences of happiness, and measure happiness in the educational workplace to come up with a scope of arguments and further search that happiness leads to success precisely through the effects of positive outcomes. Happiness in the workplace has been found to go beyond job satisfaction. Educational organisations can be supportive with employees, promote fairness, create a challenging work environment, promote good health among employees, provide career growth opportunities, offer flexible work options, provide a safe work environment, and encourage socialisation practises and employee development. These practices can make the workplace happier. There is evidence of a correlation between employee happiness, workplace performance and workplace productivity. It is not the ultimate resource for success in a career; the other support resources are intelligence, perseverance, positive attitude, and ease. It was also found that analysis of happiness is too subjective, as it is difficult to measure the dynamic nature of emotions.
