Title

Attitude towards E-Learning among the B.Ed Student Teachers

Abstract

Teacher is a paramount component involved in transforming the information, knowledge, skills wisdom, attitude, competencies etc. among the learners. The National Curriculum Framework (2005) in its “Systematic Reforms for Curriculum Changes” stated the role of teachers in improving the teaching-learning process by developing new methods and strategies of classroom teaching. The scholastic education can be proved as a boon if the primary, secondary and higher secondary education can become an agent of change through the help of educational technology. E-Learning is an approach to facilitate and enhance learning using information and communication technologies. The present research work had undertaken to study the attitude of B.Ed Student Teachers towards e-learning. The study consists of a sample of 50 male and 50 female teachers working in secondary schools of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. The researcher has taken up a random sample of 100 B.Ed Student Teachers. The researcher has developed a questionnaire to measure the attitude of B.Ed Student Teachers towards e-learning. The data collected was subjected to statistical analysis such as Mean, S.D. and “t” values. Results revealed that there is a significant difference between attitudes of B.Ed Student Teachers.
