It emphasizes on awareness of digital literacy among them to enable them to deal with the appropriate digital tools and knowing variety types of digital tools which can be use in digital literacy among them. This paper involves analysing the extent and manner of use of ICT by the undergraduate students living in semi-rural and rural areas, to suggest ways and means for improving the skills to use digital tools to equip them to enhance their teaching-learning experiences as well as provide them with an opportunity to excel in their careers in future which is moving fast towards being hundred percent digital. The present study explores the knowledge about digital tools available, the purpose and frequency of using digital tools and the status of digital literacy skills of UG students in semi-rural and rural areas,. A well-structured questionnaire was designed to collect data from 200 UG students for the present study.
