The main purpose of this project is to develop a mud dyed garment for summer which will give a cool feel and protect the skin. This study’s objective is to compare different natural fabrics like Hemp, Linen & Organic Cotton. All these fabrics have Different characteristics. And we get to compare the properties of natural fabrics after dyeing process. The mordants used are natural ingredients such as Amla powder and Soya milk. Both of the ingredients are a very powerful mordants for dyeing. It helps in the fixing of the color. Cold dyeing process is done for dyeing and the clay mud used here is a variety kind of mud which is only available in Kerala. The whole process of the dyeing is sustainable. During Summer all we need is comfort and this mud dyed garment give assurance of comfort. The variety ingredients used attract customer and it proves that anything in the world can be used in the fashion world. The light weight outfit and the yellowish color obtained gives a minimal look to the garment, and creates a masterpiece product from the natural ingredients.
