Title

PHYTOCHEMICAL QUALITATIVE ANTIOXIDANT AND ANTIBACTERIAL STUDIES OF PIPER BETEL

Abstract

The piper betel exhibits extraordinary biological properties such as hypotensive, antibacterial, anti-diabetic, anti-accident, and anti-ulcer. Examining how phytochemicals are screened for free radical defence is the aim of the current investigation. Antioxidant activity with free-radical scavenging potential protecting against DPPH, O2, H2O2, and antibacterial activity is possible with the disc diffusion method. For the study, batch-produced samples of Piper betel leaves were used.
