Human resources is a relatively new idea in management, having emerged in the 1960s. This position was pioneered by companies that practised "welfare management," and it eventually spread to those that followed the lead of "scientific management." The situation in India began to shift in the 1990s, when the government began implementing more liberal policies. Human capital has emerged as a critical component of contemporary development and change. Several companies have refocused their missions and visions to focus on their employees as a result of management's change in attitude towards the workforce and the increasing realisation of the value of human resources as a pool of talent. Businesses in the years after the dot-com boom of the early 2000s tried out new methods for attracting and maintaining tenants. The goal of this study is to determine how the technology development in the country affected the HR outsourcing practises of various businesses before and after liberalisation.
