Abstract

Parkinson's is a long-term, motor system-primarily affected condition of the central nervous system. Affecting globally 7 million populations. The treatment recommends use of drugs Benztropine entacapone and dilatory changes. According to recent studies, dark chocolate may be healthy for those with Parkinson's disease, and hence medication for Parkinson's if supplied vis chocolate-bar could bring better result. Therefor the study is designed with its primary goal to create and assess a healthy chocolate bar with natural Fava bean extract and few more herbs that exhibits Antiparkinson’s activity. In the present research the chocolate formulation was prepared using Herbal compounds with neuroprotective effect include Phoenix dactylifera, Nardostachys Jatamasi, Cyperus scariosus, Bacopa Monnier, and Convolvulus prostratus Forssk. The developed formulation was evaluated for important parameters such as overall appearance, pH, stability, bloom test, dimensions, hardness, and superior drug release properties. The present medication-coated chocolate formulation had offered a better patient compliance. IN present formulation fava beans and Dates fruit were identified as core ingredients. formulation offers flavonoids and rich quantity of levodopa (L-dopa). The flavonoid of fava beans offers better motor function and levodopa (L-dopa) present in beans converts into the neurotransmitter dopamine by human body. Other ingredients present in formulation offered a supportive role in management of Parkinson’s disorder.
