Overall electrical network is a complex network where different kind of electrical hazard may occur in any time anywhere in the system. Due to excessive power demand normal transmission line are facing overloading issues which are called network congestion. It may causes serious effects on power systems, including terrible system damage. It can happen when transmission networks fail to transfer power based on the load demand. This paper highlighted basic issues related with this field which can help to the new researcher in this domain to identify the problem. Some suggestion has been given to mitigate this problem using network reconfiguration method.
