Natural fibers show significant potential as environmentally friendly alternatives to base as Banana fiber and reinforcements such as Jute, Sugarcane, Coconut Coir fibers.Many natural fibers have been identified which have some appropriate mechanical properties for structural purposes, being of low density, and high specific strength and stiffness. Coconut-Coir fibers are examples of such fibers. This project mainly focuses such of mechanical properties like tensile, flexural, impact strengths of these fibers reinforced in under various proportions. The fabrication method was by “hand layup process” and the fibers are laid in between the layers of Banana fibers like a sandwich.The fabrication method was by “hand layup process” and the fibers are laid in between the layers of Banana fibers like a sandwich.Mechanical properties like tensile, flexural, impact strengths of these fibers reinforced in under various proportions are studied. Both the results are compared along with the standard composite material and the best unique composite with high mechanical properties and structure is identified.
