Title

Multi-Game Currency Sharing through Blockchain Technology Across Multiple Chains: Bridging the Gap between Virtual Economies

Abstract

In recent years, the gaming industry has experienced significant growth, with the emergence of numerous gaming platforms and developers who have created distinct virtual economies. However, players are frequently limited to their respective virtual economies, preventing them from transferring in-game currencies and assets between games. This research paper investigates the potential of blockchain technology to create a unified virtual economy in the gaming industry by facilitating the sharing of virtual currencies between games. Utilizing distributed ledger technology capabilities, the proposed solution enables the transfer of assets between games, developers, and platforms. Using blockchain technology ensures secure and transparent transactions, eliminates the need for intermediaries, and provides participants with complete control over their virtual assets and currencies, thereby enhancing their overall value and usability. In addition, the decentralized nature of blockchain technology offers participants and developers stability by protecting the virtual economy from external influences. This paper explores the technical aspects of implementing a multi-game currency-sharing system, including smart contracts, tokenization, and blockchain network interoperability. The potential advantages of such a system for players and developers are discussed, including increased player engagement, enhanced monetization opportunities, and lowered entry barriers for new game developers. I present an overview of blockchain technology, a comprehensive analysis of multi-game currency sharing, and a proposed implementation framework. In addition, we discuss prospective challenges and future directions for research in this field.
