White-collar crime is a specific type of criminal activity that is typically committed by individuals from privileged backgrounds and recognized social groups, often in the course of their employment. To get more information in regards to the the current state of such crime in India the paper tries to show various reasons that led to increase in such crimes in India. Along with a historical background on how such crimes came to picture. How the term came in picture following with how such crimes impact our society. The paper informs us of various forms of crimes that take place along with penalties imposed for such crimes. The current state of such crimes calls for strict regulation to be made by government along with their involvement at a level that resolves cases quickly.
