Abstract
The paper focuses on the Guru Nanak’s perspective on women through his writings. The paper highlights the social milieu of Guru Nanak’s in relation to women and how he dealt with it? The major source of the Guru Nanak teaching was Shri Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of the Sikhs. Various hymns are analyzed to understand the perspective of Guru Nanak. Guru Nanak gave the message of gender neutral society without any discrimination on the basis of sexes.
