The Mentees report generating system is a web-based project that aims to improve the analysis of student performance in a college. It provides a centralized platform for faculty members to easily track student performance and provide accurate rankings based on performance. The system promotes transparency by making it easy for students to view their rankings and limited information about the faculty. Meanwhile, the coordinator user can upload the latest news and announcements in the system. To implement the system, a database would be created to store all the necessary information, including faculty, mentees, news, and placement details. Admin users can add faculty details and distribute login IDs and passwords to faculty. Faculty members can upload mentee details, marks, and certificates of events, and the system would use this data to calculate the rank of students based on college criteria and display their grades. The system also includes a news form that the coordinator would use to upload the latest updates or news about events and college updates. The coordinator would also be able to upload YouTube links so that students can view recorded event videos. Additionally, the coordinator would update the newly placed students with company names and LPA details. Finally, every student and staff member would be able to view the ranking webpage based on performance, which would congratulate students who perform well. The system is implemented using HTML, CSS, and PHP and provides a user-friendly interface for all users. The Mentees report generating system aims to improve the management of student performance and provide insights for future improvements.
