This paper is an overview of research that was done in the field of computer engineering to create a system for detecting driver drowsiness in order to avoid accidents caused by fatigued or sleepy drivers. A restricted implementation of the numerous strategies that are discussed in the thesis-es on the subject was addressed in the novel along with results and solutions. In the current state of traffic, the document addresses the many methods for detecting weariness and their effectiveness in averting accidents. The report also summarises the authors' observations in order to support further optimisation in the concerned area and produce the utility with greater effectiveness for a safer road.
