Title

Students' Attitudes towards MOOCs in Higher Education: An Exploratory Study

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the attitudes of students towards Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in the context of higher education. MOOCs have gained popularity as a flexible and accessible form of online learning, offering a wide range of courses from renowned institutions. Understanding student attitudes towards MOOCs is crucial for evaluating their potential impact on traditional higher education models and informing future educational strategies. The study uses a mixed-methods approach to examine students' opinions, motives, and obstacles surrounding MOOCs by combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. The findings provide valuable insights into the factors influencing students' attitudes towards MOOCs and their implications for the future of higher education.
