Tools have given way to machines and automation in building. Automation improves construction productivity, precision, and safety. Structured prefabrication is gaining popularity as a technique to boost production and reduce environmental impact. Automation and prefabrication may improve the building business. Current accomplishments, difficulties, and future prospects in structural prefabrication and construction; design, construction management, robotic production, autonomous transportation, and automatic structural assembly; the article suggests that construction automation is preferable to structural prefabrication, and that connection advancements can simplify difficult activities and improve robotic assembly. Many machines can reduce human effort, lower labor costs, and boost building output. India should expand construction automation for infrastructure development.
