The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into software engineering presents a transformative opportunity, poised to revolutionize traditional software development processes. This research paper explores the profound impact AI can have on software engineering, focusing on key applications such as automated code generation, debugging, software testing, maintenance, project management, and decision-making. By leveraging advanced AI techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, software engineering can achieve unprecedented levels of efficiency, accuracy, and innovation. The literature reveals significant advancements in AI-driven tools and methodologies, drawing parallels from successful AI implementations in fields like clinical and genomic diagnostics and healthcare.
