In daily life we come across most people saying that Mathematics is a very hard subject. We also hear that “My child is very good in studies except Mathematics”. It is very difficult for a teacher to transfer their love and affection of Mathematics to their students with the mindset of considering the subject hard to learn. More than fifty percent of people have problems with addition, subtraction as well as with fraction. This paper emphasizes on how NEP-2020 will make teaching of Mathematics interesting as well as joyful and they will learn the practical use of Mathematics in daily life. This paper also emphasizes on the necessity to inculcate the habit of mathematical thinking and avoiding the rote learning .They will learn to add joys, subtract sorrows, multiply money and divide love among all in their lives.
