Abstract
Little millet (Panicum sumatrense) is one of the oldest cultivated crops in the world and is gaining popularity as a nutritious and healthy food due to its high nutritional value. This review paper discusses the nutritional profile and health benefits of little millets. Little millets are a good source of energy, protein, dietary fiber, and minerals like iron, phosphorus, and calcium. They are also rich in photochemical such as phenols, flavonoids, and tannins that have been linked to numerous health benefits.
