COVID-19 or SARS- Co2 infection is associated with various post therapeutic complications. One such severe and life threatening complication is Mucormycosis. It is the invasive fungal infection reported in immunocompromised patients. This article aims to analyse the cases of mucormycosis in COVID-19 infected patient reported in literature so far. Also we aim to understand the pathogenesis and role of comorbidities in this deadly fungal infection, so that prompt management of these patients can be done to reduce morbidity and mortality.
