The computation of crop water requirements plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and sustainable water management in agricultural systems. This abstract presents a study conducted on the computation of crop water requirements specifically for the Noa Dihing River Basin. The Noa Dihing River Basin, located in a region of significant agricultural activity, faces challenges in water availability and efficient water allocation. Understanding the crop water requirements is crucial for optimizing irrigation practices, reducing water stress, and maximizing crop productivity. In this paper the Crop Water Requirement is evaluated for the commonly grown crops in the study area i.e. Noa-Dihing river basin. The factors that affect the crop water requirement are also discussed in this paper. CROPWAT was used to compute the crop water requirements of crops such as banana, mango, orange, maize, millets, pulses, kharif rice, rabi rice and tobacco. The rainfall data was computed using CLIMWAT
