Corporations are an essential component of the global community that has emerged as a result of globalisation. Corporate criminal culpability has become increasingly controversial over time, particularly in areas of social standing like consumer protection, environmental law, occupational health, and safety standards. When a corporation is found to be guilty of a crime, it not only has an impact on the organisation's operations but also on the company's criminally-inclined employees, who may suffer both legally and financially.
