The classic villain, Jamie Lannister, is the most discussed character of the HBO series “Game of Thrones”. Born with the blessings of life, he is the most intriguing figure and is repeatedly met with conflicts in his personal as well as social life. The incestuous tie he binds with his sister Cersei marks his moral degeneration in the context of Westeros and the society around. His consistently inconsistent honour dynamics shift and swim as he becomes a prisoner and later - a companion to the soldier woman, Brienne. Revealed through the perception of an individual lens, disconnecting him from Cersei’s grasp, Jamie marks himself as a noble man sinned against than being the sinner. The paper focusses on the psychological journey of Jamie thereby unleashing the true worth in him. Despite the readings that create the diabolical image of Jamie, the paper discusses the intrinsic values he held within.
