The main aim of this work is the measurement the frequency of hand tremors and alert the patient before his or her tremor condition can become severe. Tremors cause deflection in fingers constantly, this deflection is determined using the MPU 6050 sensor (Inertial Measurement Unit or IMU). The data from the sensor is used to measure the vibration of the hand caused due to tremors. An Arduino is used to calculate the frequency from the MPU 6050 sensor and in addition, a buzzer connected to the Arduino alerts the patient or the caretakers of the patient for immediate action or help. These frequency measurements can also be sent to the cloud so that doctors can monitor the condition of the patient using a web application.
