The contribution of the consumer electronics sector to India's GDP has been extensively researched. Secondary sources served as the basis for the current revision. Out of all the electronic items produced in India, the consumer electronics sector has seen the most distribution. Additionally, it looked at Indian consumer electronics trends. Exports, production, and a portion of India's GDP. The highest growth rate of consumer electronics manufacturing, 36.32 present, was recorded in 2017–18, while the lowest growth rate, 13.6%, was recorded in 2020–21. Over time, the export of consumer electronics as a percentage of overall exports and its contribution to GDP has steadily grown. The manufacturing of consumer electronics for domestic use as a percentage of India's GDP increased from 2011–12 to 2017–18, or from 0.379 to 0.621 present; nonetheless, there are still significant fluctuations in this percentage. The state has made significant changes to the tariff structure in an attempt to encourage the production of consumer electronics in India. It has been demonstrated that the IT industry not only makes a substantial contribution to GDP and export revenue, but also serves as a key driver of job creation in the nation.
