Abstract
Our future is our children, if we want to do something for our future or future generations or we want to do something for them, then we have to inculcate those values in our children which will make them capable of taking responsibility not only for themselves but also to build a clean, beautiful and healthy society. Along with this, one can live a happy life by living in harmony with nature and environment. Keeping in mind the cleanliness of India, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji started the country's largest cleanliness campaign, named as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, on 2 October 2014, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. He also appealed to every resident of the country to cooperate with the campaign to remove the biggest mess. In our country, whether it is rural area or urban area, going to the toilet is a big challenge, in the areas where the toilets are built, there are water problems and where there are not enough toilets people have more problems. Nearly 72% of India's rural populations where there are no toilets, people are forced to go to the banks of the river, on the side of the rail track, on the side of the road, open defecation, which would give rise to a huge problem. In the open, there is a fear of infection due to defecation, people get sick and people have to face many problems, women have a lot of problems and after getting them in a lonely place, people do wrong things with them. More than 120 crore are Indians and almost 559% of the people do not have access to toilets. A complete sanitation campaign was started in 1999 to address this serious toilet problem in India. Under this, the Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan was also started in 2012. The aim was to achieve universal household hygiene coverage by 2022. The Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan and the Entire Swachhata Abhiyan (T.S.C.) could not achieve their stated In order to keep India free from open defecation, the Federal Government has given a new name Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by removing the deficiencies of the ongoing Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan, whose main objective is to make people aware of cleanliness and make India free of open defecation. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a campaign to become aware of cleanliness or, say, a mission that cannot be completed until every citizen of the country becomes morally aware of cleanliness. Nevertheless, the Government of India has set the goal of freeing India from open defecation till the 150th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi which will be celebrated in 2019. To accomplish or achieve this aim, every citizen of the country, every institution, whether it is government or private, is trying to give shoulder to shoulder support with government with all the help. It is the effort of the Government of India that till 2019, there should be no family in both rural and urban areas who do not have their own toilet with water supply. In order to make the Swachh Bharat Mission a success, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has constituted a team of 19 members under the chairmanship of Raghunath Anant Mashelkar, former Director General of Scientific Industrial Research Council (CSIR).This team will assess the available resources in every state. After that, team will give suggestions about how states can achieve the goals of cleanliness by using better and cheaper and sustain able method. When this biggest social event of the country was started, then all the big personalities took part in this program. People from Bollywood to the industrial sector encouraged the people to be independent in their own way for the success of this program. Leaders from political parties, students and teachers of education also participated in many activities related to cleanliness. Religious society also did not appear backward. The Prime Minister of our country also urged people to create a clean chain of success of this cleanliness program. Which he started by adding 9 people to himself and told him that now you add 9 people each to you. And this is how people will join and thus the goal of this program can be easily achieved.
