The solubility behaviour of drug remains one of the most challenging aspects in formulation development. The drug therapeutic efficacy mainly depend upon the bioavailability and ultimately upon the solubility. The objective of present study is to formulate and evaluate fast dissolving tablets of aceclofenac by using natural super disintegrants - ispagula husk and fenugreek seed mucilage. Tablets were prepared by direct compression method and the formulation of tablets was optimized to get minimum disintegration time and maximum drug release. The prepared FDT’s were evaluated for weight variation, hardness, and friability, disintegration and dissolution studies. The results were found to be in acceptable range according to standard limits. .
