The right to information act is also known as the RTI Act. It has become a very important law that the Indian Parliament has approved in recent years. It has proven to be a highly strong instrument for ordinary people and social activists fighting corruption and exerting more control over officials of various government departments and agencies, as well as protecting their legal and constitutional rights. The information provided by public authorities is now more transparent. The secrecy of numerous types of information from public authorities has been greatly reduced, resulting in greater transparency and accountability for a better democracy
