Title

ONLINE SHOPPING SATISFACTION AND PURCHASE INTENT FOR TEXTILES, DURABLE GOODS AND JEWELLERY

Abstract

ABSTRACT Young individuals across various income range and location are exerting influence on their parents, encouraging online purchase. In this scenario, the most challenging concept in the marketing is to deal with understanding the buying behaviour or purchase intention. When people aspire to buy or decide about something they need, the immediate activity of the person would be to search the same online. As the world is getting ruled by the online mode of purchase, sales and many more, this study is to concentrate that kind of online purchasing and the satisfaction level of the customers. For the study data was collected from the common internet users. The main purpose of the study is to know the purchase intention and level of satisfaction towards online shopping. A sample of 250 was chosen using a convenient random sampling method. The structured questionnaire was framed for the data collection. The data was tested using statistical tools like percentage analysis, descriptive analysis, chi square and ANOVA using (SPSS) it was concluded that the role of the satisfaction, trust and reputation of firm have been increasing simultaneously in order to attract and retain customers. Key words: Purchase intention, Online shopping, Satisfaction level.
