Title

Fuzzy Logic-Based Pitch Adjustment for Enhanced Wind Turbine Performance

Abstract

This paper proposes leveraging fuzzy logic to enhance wind turbine pitch angle control, a critical factor for optimizing energy capture and minimizing structural loads. Fuzzy Logic Controllers (FLCs), known for their prowess in managing complex, nonlinear systems, are tailored for the dynamic and turbulent nature of wind energy conversion. The research encompasses three key facets: designing an FLC with a focus on energy efficiency and structural integrity, developing a comprehensive mathematical model of the wind turbine system, and evaluating performance through comparisons with traditional control methods, highlighting improved energy capture and structural load mitigation. This approach's adaptability to varying wind conditions and system uncertainties positions it as a promising solution for real-world wind turbine applications, contributing to a more sustainable energy landscape.
