This study investigates the effect of Cyclic and seismic loading on RC structures using ETABS software. It aims to enhance their design and resilience. The study employs simulations and analysis to assess structural integrity, deformations and overall performance. ETABS software is used to analyze a multi-story building in seismic zone V of India. Various cyclic loads, including seismic forces, wind pressures and machinery vibrations are applied alongside constant lateral loads. The investigation focuses on aspects such as Peak response displacements, Story drift ratios, Frequencies and Time periods. The results show that introducing cyclic load as Machinery vibration leads to gradual change in displacement, base shear, frequency and time period, emphasizing the seismic impact.
