Parikartika ( fissure-in-ano) is the commonest anorectal condition commonly seen in to the day-to-day practice. Recent statistics reveals that more than 80% of population suffers from this disease. In this condition the Constipation and mandaagni are the prime causative factors. The management aims mainly to reduce pain and healing of Acute fissure-in-Ano. Objectives of the Study : The present study entitled “A Comparative clinical study of Kshudrasevantika taila pichu and Doorvadi Taila pichu in Parikartika w.s.r. to Fissure-in-Ano” was carried out with following aims and objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of kshudrasevantika taila pichu in Parikartika w.s.r. to Fissure in ano. To evaluate the efficacy of Doorvadi Taila pichu in Parikartika w.s.r. to Fissure in Ano. To compare the efficacy of kshudrasevantika taila pichu and Doorvadi taila pichu in Parikartika w.s.r. to Fissure in ano. Methods: So keeping this in view, 40 patients suffering from Parikartika fulfilling the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria were selected and randomly assigned into two equal groups. Group A (kshudrasevantika taila pichu) and Group B (Doorvadi taila pichu). The patient were subjected to pichu dharana for 21 days and internally triphala choorna 1 gm for the period of 21 days.. Duration of the study: Pichu dharana along with internal medicine triphala choorna has been given for 21 days. Clinical response was assessed at an interval of 7 day i.e (0th ,8th ,15th ,22nd). Results: On the basis of statistical analysis It was observed that effect of doorvadi taila pichu in Parikartika(Fissure-in-ano)was shown Significant results than kshudrasevantika taila pichu.
