Title

Empirical Study of Various Factors Which Impacts Development of Global Auto Sector

Abstract

The automotive industries consist of companies involve in the designing, development, manufacturing, marketing, and selling of motor vehicles across the globe. The industry comprises of automobile and the auto component sectors and encompasses commercial vehicles, multi-utility vehicles, passenger cars, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, tractors and related auto components. Mergers, acquisitions and all the different types of corporate restructuring activities can be classified as strategies or quasi strategies adapted by businesses to achieve growth, expand, disseminate value and basically become better equipped to face competition. The objective of study is to investigate how corporate acquisitions affect the development and financial health of a few automobile sector companies and to investigate the growth factors and difficulties facing the Indian automobile sector. For this secondary data has been collected from various sources. The result of the study shows that there is a positive correlation between Economic value added (EVA) and earnings per share (EPS). EPS is used to predict future cash flows, for the comparison of companies’ performance to establish the impact of issuing common stocks.
