Another part of grammar is syntax. Phonology, morphology and semantic etc. are a part of grammar. Therefore, syntax is also a part of grammar. Humans use sentences to express their thoughts. Sentence is the largest component of language. There are mainly two parts to a sentence. These are: subject and object. In this way, a sentence can be expansion and contraction by the word, phrase and clause. Just as semantics can expansion and contraction meanings, syntax can also expansion and contraction sentences. A sentence can be expanded mainly by including the subject and predicate. That is, a short sentence can be lengthened by expanding the subject and predicate of the sentence. Expansion sentences can also be contracted in a number of ways. Therefore, it can be said that, the expansion and contraction refer to ways composers play with the expected length of a phrase.
