Title

Study on Tungsten Disulfide Polymorphs Nanomaterials: Properties and Applications

Abstract

This study introduces various Nano related terms including Nanoscience, Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials. A brief history and applications of Nanotechnology in different emerging fields are also described in detailed. Classification of Nanomaterials based on their types and dimensionality are elaborated thoroughly. Distinct polymorphs nanomaterials especially metal oxides and transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) are selected. A brief description on Tungsten Disulfide (WS2) nanostructures including 0D, 1D, 2D and 3D nanostructures and polymorphs WS2 structures is also summarized. A detailed review of literature is proposed in terms of the efficient synthesis, probing capabilities and potential applications of WS2 nanostructures. Emerging properties in particular electrical, conductivity and mobility, crystallography and optical, as well as potential applications of WS2 nanostructures are covered in a detailed way. This systematically study provides a new strategy in order to further investigate the unique fundamental properties and to deeply explore their various promising applications.
